?? that made no sense, I'm studying full time and I don't work for 9$/hour. I got into this because I have experience in sound tech and I've had connections to get equipment. I'll always keep doing free parties even if I get to throw big events.

I've only been in MTL for about a year now and yeah, I bought some equipment and I've thrown a whole bunch of free parties that everybody seemed to like. In the last year I've gotten to know enough DJs that every time I throw a party my inbox is full of people asking to play. The way I see it, I'm not gonna be able to make a living off throwing parties or djing, at least not for a very long time, so all the money and effort invested right now is just to have FUN, seeing the sun rise in the morning and people just smiling everywhere is very much worth it. Lots of people have offered us rides and help, people were happy to pitch in money in a donation hat. We had BBQs and water and such but those things barely broke even because we're not in it for the money, we never say no to someone asking for water or food even if they don't have money. I'm down to help for any party, and I want to be part of the scene and see it progress.
