We could set some things up beforehand, provided it did not interfere with *THE BINGO*. It was my worst setup experience ever, by far. Thank god the sound guys stayed around to help us, as did Marcus, Wayan and Arne with their gear.

Bio 3.Turn/Authentik



Jocelyn Jaigirdar aka Joss, Vikara.


. Born in London on October 23rd 1977.
. Mother French, Father Indian.
. Started music at a very young age.
. Influenced by reggae, jazz, Indian music, punk, hip hop and the beginning of electronic music.

At age seven, Jocelyn moved with his family from London to the south of France. At fifteen, he moved again, this time to San Francisco where he lived with his brother Ivan. It was in California, while finishing high school and university, that Joss became part of the underground electronic dance world.

In 1997 he began working extensively as a DJ internationally and then met Stephane, an experienced sound engineer, while on vacation in the south of France. The two formed a close relationship and were able to combine their creative skills to produce a unique sound, now tasted and appreciated worldwide.


Stéphane Hoareau aka Steph, Lou Maxmizer




. Born in Paris on April 16th 1972.
. Started music at age 10 playing piano & bass.
. Influenced principally by jazz, blues, and rock.

Stephane grew up in Paris. He then went on to study finance & economics with a concentration in international business. Through these studies, he was able to travel to cities such as New York, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. After graduating, Steph worked for Sony France in the Audio pro department for 2 years where he specialized in computer music and other new music based technologies. It was at this time that he started his musical collaboration with Joss.

Following his work at Sony, Steph joined Question Mark records where he, Joss, Dado and JC created the Cypher project that was later released on Question Mark and on Twisted records. After completing the Cypher project and put an end to Question Mark records, Steph & Joss had a common vision to create their own studio, Phantom Production.



Over the course of the last 4 years Joss & Steph have played at many events world-wide, from very intimate and intense 200 people gigs, to famous clubs and big electronic music festivals with over 25,000 people. They have performed in numerous cities and countries including France, England, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, Macedonia, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Russia, USA, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Morocco, South Africa, India, and Australia.

Their music and performances have garnered exceptional reviews by some of the best in the business such as MixMag, Keyboards, Wax, Raveline, Groove, Dj Mag, Kiel, Mushroom, Vibes, Music, Upfront, Psynews, etc…

Since 2000, the founding year of Phantom Production, the studio has demonstrated impressive growth in terms of its accomplishments and innovations in producing and creating. With their newest sound engineer & collaborator, Pascal Werner, Phantom Production shows no signs of slowing down, rather it continues to produce innovative artists such as Stan Lefort, Exit, Night session, Rekhmire and others, on labels such as Sony, Pias, Universal, Happy music to name a few.
