no idea cant be any thing like what I do... or I would probally know who she was tech industry is a small one we all know each other...

I dont know about that my job in the tech industry was devalued down from an average of 45-50k to the 35-40k range so in the matter of a year I went from a 44k a year job to a 38k a year job... doing the exact same job working more hours then befor... so what does that make me a devalued person in the community my skills are worth less now even though I provide the same service... its fucked... personally I think they need to do away with the technical school stage process here in quebec like they did in ontario so companies cant get free technical people who have not even a 1/4 of the skills and 10 years of experince that I have...sorry this is a touchy subject for me so I dont mean to rant but it does piss me off that places will hire a system admin fresh out of school woht no experince over someone with 10 years experince just becasue they can get the newbie for free for a few months and then pay him or her 10 bucks an hour with no benefits and ect ect... as aposed to being forced to pay me a salary that is not hourly with full benfits and paid vacation/sick time...
man it makes me want to leave the tech industry completly and learn a real hands on trade like carpentry or some thing like that Im so sick of sitting in front of a computer for 40 plus hrs a week... :(

thats nothing I clear about 1.5 times that every week who really cares...
how much you make... the more you make the more you spend the more you owe to the man...
its all part of a visious circle...

as for people saying mtl has an equal amount of worms as other places I have lived in 6 different cities in 3 different counties and mtl has the nicest people of any place the most helpfull and careing around...

Sorry for the naw no show but I had a personal emergency that wouldnt have allowed me to go... I emailed tyler on friday saying I couldnt make it becasue of a family emergency my mom was knocked down by a taxi cab and was in the hospital. I really didnt feel right about taking off on my mom to go play at a festival when my mom was laying in a hospital bed all messed up.
sorry I couldnt make it but this happened thursday and decided that it would not be cool to go becasue we were unsure of my mothers condition. I gave tyler a rain check for another date for another substansit/free techno event in toronto...some time late this summer early this fall... sorry some times these things could not be helped...
