De retour à la SAT en force

Après tout près d’un an au repos, c’est le vendredi 16 février prochain à la Société des Arts Technologiques que Tistik revient à la charge avec une programmation incontournable. Pour l’occasion, Ben Parris (Foundsound - Baltimore), Mossa (Complot), The Autist & Véga (Tistik, [ Epsilonlab.com ] et Euterke aux visuels, seront rassemblé pour offrir un menu de premier plan. C’est donc avec une tête d’affiche internationale ainsi que la crème de Montréal que Tistik vous promet une soirée musicalement recherchée à l’ambiance festive comme nul autre ne sait le faire. Plaisir garantit !

Résidant maintenant à Baltimore, Ben Parris a fait danser des foules partout sur la planète en passant par plusieurs clubs incontournables de Berlin tels que le Panorama, le Club Der Visionaere, le Watergate sans aussi oublier de nombreuses prestations à plusieurs autres événements électroniques européens.

Ceux qui le connaissent savent que les performances de Ben Parris sont légendaires et tout simplement incroyables. Très minutieux dans sa recherche musicale, il réussit toujours à nous surprendre avec des tonalités texturées et enivrantes. Quoi que très minimaux, ses DJs set sont toujours groovy et irrésistible.

Spring as arrived in Montreal, trees are blooming, terraces are full and nights are getting warmer and warmer in a city that’s in its climax. It’s in this festive spirit that TISTIK has prepared its next event on May 13 2006 at Théâtre Sans Fil. Under the banner White – Black, TISTIK plans to stoke the fire of this ex firehouse by offering only but the best of the best of local Montreal talent.

Obviously THE AUTIST and VEGA will hit the decks as residents of TISTIK, but CREATOR and ARSEN will also be shredding wax for the occasion. Masters of electronica music, this foursome will offer you a highly colourful musical mosaic. And trust us, your ears won’t be the only things extremely stimulated on that night. As such you can count on VJ Euterke as he fulfills his role as master of visual effects in White and Black… so much so as to hypnotize you!

Whether you prefer White or Black, May 13 2006 will be a night in flying colours courtesy of TISTIK at Théâtre Sans Fil (411 Létourneux – South of Notre-Dame a couple of streets East of Pie-IX) – 10pm to 8am.

Forget your New Years resolutions, it’s time to party


The Holidays and New Years Eve parties now things of the past, it’s on January 20th 2006 that Tistik Productions will start the year full-on with its first event of 2006. Braving the snow and the cold winter nights, Café des Éclusiers (400 de la Commune West – Corner McGill) will open its doors for this special occasion. Have no fear; the night will be warm, very warm to the unrestrained rhythms of our guest DJs.

Following suite to the recent success of “Ménage à Trois” (Société des arts technologiques de Montréal - Septembre 17th 2005), Tistik offers you yet again a trio of local DJs who master the 12inch with distinction. As a first, Tistik will receive Eddy Jasmin along side to The Autist and Véga both regulars to these events. Finally, since a Tistik event would not be what it is without Euterke, he will be on site in control of visuals to help set the night on “fire”.

On deck from 10pm to 3am, these artistes promise to create a night bound to make you forget even your best New Years resolutions.
