People should censor what they watch. If they throw sex, violence and harsh language into music videos, who's forcing people to watch it!? JUST CHANGE THE CHANNEL if you don't like it.

Yup, that's exactly what they were saying on the radio.

Certain small areas here did not lose power because they were on the Gatineau power grid.

I do. All i've had for 11 hours was a battery radio.

It didn't give any good info. Our dumbass prme minister said it was lightening hitting a power plant, but that was quickly dismissed since no lightening or rain has touched the area in days.

I was seriously worrying about that.

2 weeks alone in hickville, i would have hung myself.

The blackout affected a quater of the states and all of ontario... yet quebec was untouched. Coincidence? I think not!!

Who was affected?

I lost power for nearly 11 hours, with nothing but a damn battery powered radio for company in the sticks. But it's back now.

So what the hell was that all about anyway??

I just got power back. 10 hours, god that was hell.

The prime minister said it was a lightening strike, but this was denied when the precipitation reports said it was sunny all day.

So basically, they still have no idea.


When all you have is the radio for entertainment for 10 hours, you hear ALL the news, lol.

I just got power back. It was out for me in Greely for 10 hours and 45 mins.

And i STILL can't get on XVI. Grrr.

Anyway, was there seriously looting downtown? Damn.
