Their monthly series is generally held on the third Sunday of every month at Swizzles Bar & Grill and feature regulars such as Rob Mclennan, Oni the Haitian Sensation, and John Akpata. [b]The Sweets:[/b] -3 Tarts (1320 Wellington Street West - 613-729-9832) - with an injection of thick, rich sweetness -Three Bakers & A Bike (1281A Wellington Street West - 613-729-6897) - with a sweet creation that will be of there specialty -Harvest Loaf (1323 Wellington Street West - 613-722-7797) - with an Aussie delectable, the Lamington! -Bridgehead (1277 Wellington St - 613-725-5500) - with a coffee of exquisite taste as usual. [b]The Beats:[/b] Always free CD's to giveaway from Six Degrees Records and always swanky in house beats. 7-10pm beats w/ [i]Emily Jones[/i] [ ] E18hteen, Social) 10pm-???? beats w/ [i]Lance Baptiste[/i] [b]Live Art:[/b] [i]Kenji Toyooka[/i] was the featured vernisage-ist for the last [i]World Beats and Sweets[/i], and for this one he will be making a piece while we all mill around.
