| Info: | The Ferret Rescue Society of Ottawa aims to care for unwanted, abandoned and abused ferrets, to rehabilitate them and give them the medical attention they require, and to find suitable homes for all ferrets who are healthy enough to be adopted into new families; they also provide a safe and healthy environment for the ferrets whose lives are no longer meant to be in a family environment. Every year, they throw a "Save the Ferrets!" benefit concert, featuring talented local artists who believe in the cause. This year, The Bridegroom (formerly The Heist), Stephanie Pereira and Sir Byron's Dog of War will be playing for your listening enjoyment. All proceeds will go to the Ferret Rescue Society of Ottawa: [ www.ferretrescue.ca ] Details at a glance: When: Friday, November 11th at 8pm Where: Maverick's bar on Rideau St. What: The Bridegroom (formerly The Heist), Stephanie Pereira and Sir Byron's Dog of War. Why: to drink, be merry, and save ferrets... AT THE SAME TIME. :) Tickets are $6, $7 at the door. All proceeds go to help the Ottawa Ferret Rescue Society care for abandoned and abused critters, pay for their vet bills, and find them amazing homes. So, TOGGLE UP, PEOPLE! :) |
