For this edition of our monthly event we call LIFE, we have asked one of Canada's hidden jewels, MARCO G (Relic Recordings, Aria, Montreal) to show us what he's all about. Marco is well known in Quebec and Montreal as one hell of a hard hitting dj/producer and is now on the brink of blowing up world wide as he is in the middle of celebrating his first EP release (Funk Around The World) on Relic Silver a Sub Label of one of Ottawa's favourite imported dj/producers, Preach's label Relic Recordings. Marco and Preach have been close friends and production partners for years and I guess that gives ya a lil hint of what to expect when getting set to listen to a night of Marco G's beats.
Along with Marco G we have also asked Ottawa's top notch techno dj/producers , Dj Hashek to come along for the ride and deliver us another mind blowing set just as he did in March. Also, it would not be a night at Surface without one of our beloved resident djs, Balu, as he'll get the party started right.
