Mike has been spinning wax and rocking parties for well over ten years. After honing his sound and skills as one of the Midwest’s most prominent DJs, Mike moved to New York in 1995. He soon found himself headlining the city’s biggest and best night spots (such as Twilo and Tunnel), obtaining coveted residencies, and eventually traveling throughout Europe and the Americas to spin his now signature blend of techno and house. In 1998, Mike launched his own imprint - Intrinsic Design Records. With 13 releases to date from some of the global scene’s most respected producers – such as Casey Hogan, Jeff Bennett, Kenneth Graham, Lucas Rodenbush and Maetrik – Intrinsic is now a staple techno/house label and is highly respected throughout the world, with everyone from John Digweed to Steve Bug dropping their tracks. Celebrating the release of his own 12” EP on Intrinsic Design this week, Noah Pred will be warming things up with a special set of deeply funky techno and house.
