| Info: | DELICIOUS Tasting Ottawa's Soul Last month marked Rob Brown's second installment of his residency at DELICIOUS, with over 300 people in attendance once again. Max Herbert who also took the trip from Montreal with Rob, turned many heads, as his opening set was very funky, and set the tone for another incredible evening. Max had such a blast he'll be taking the trip up with Rob again, this time just to hang out, meet people and and party! For those that don't know, Max is the head promoter at Stereo, a resident dj there, and also throws a monthly in the Stereo Bar, so this is a good chance for Ottawa djs to get their demo to one of Montreal's top promoters (Max has been around forever, as far back as part of 514 Productions, when they first came together). Rob Brown (Odds N Ends Recordings - Upperclub / Montreal) Rob has been a mainstay in the Canadian house music community for years and a frequent guest in the nation's capital. He is winning over the souls of Ottawa's funky house music scene with his monthly sets at Helsinki. Rob has played all across North America, aswell as Europe, alongside such Djs as Derrick Carter, Danny Tenaglia, Carl Cox, Mark Farina, etc. In his hometown of Montreal he has held residencies at clubs like SONA and STEREO and played guest spots at almost every major club in the city. Rob also has releases dropping on labels such as Odds n Ends and Muzique Boutique. Don't miss it, this one promises to be as legendary as the last, as Rob will rock the dancefloor like no one else can. Opening for Rob will be Jeff Lapratte aka Jackspratt (Mercury Lounge) playing a mixture of funky house, breaks and garage.
