| ok now I gotta say that the set-up of that place was fucking awesome! I mean FUCKING awesome!
The dancefloor was used as a screen, pretty much...with a screen on top of the dance floor too...behind the dj booth, which was elevated from the crowd, had a huge plastic ball behind it with visuals of Lucky Luke cartoons.
Loads of "street-wear" type of paintings...there were also these wicked rectangle type boxes with a the hologram of a person lying in it...I thought they were benches at first and almost sat on it hahahaha that would've been so dissrespectful to the artist :b
The lighting was ill too and they had a fashion show with all kinds of 80s feel electroclash stuff, Karma Jewels and shades from [ www.lunetz.com ] right on the side of the dancefloor which is inside the pool (no water was in it duh) so you could also look at the whole dancefloor down from the sides.
So when I as on the dancefloor for the fashion show (had to take pics) I was looking at the soundsystem from there and I was just dying to hear some Techno pumping out of that.....shame :(
I wish I liked kitchy-trendy music...I wish I wasn't so picky with my music but I can't fake it :(:(....I make up with the whinning and sometimes I bitch too....balances things out hehe |

| Like Toltech say, The setup was amazing, the sound pretty good and the music amazing.
I like the fact that we are dancing in a pool, lol that make me feel surfing on the music o_O.
The light effet was great with too big blacklight one on each room and the neon on the side of the pool (the electro room).
One thing disapoint me was the other room, they was too much light comming from the corner and the fact that the pipe lose water on her face was not bad because it was so hot down but it was bad for the dance floor that was ALL wet.
But in general it was a great event with great music and great poeple. |
