Coolness: 339645
| drummy.. ? |
Coolness: 145400
| those aren't my terms....I mean what kind of techno isn't drummy?...don't they all use drums?...what's next, guitary rock?....bassy hip-hop?....ambienty ambient....melodicy trance?....I dunno....don't aks me.. |
Coolness: 339645
| my thoughts exactly.. |
Coolness: 49500
| drummy techno distribes a form of techno that was very popualr amounst the swedish sect of producers in the mid to late 90s that consisted of tracks that were 100 percent percussive with a bass line no synth sounds no chords no stabs nothing... but drum kits and bass lines for the most part... mostly it was used as dj tools...for layering tracks the sweeds were famous at that time for 3 deck sets when no one else were doing that really... this fourm of music allowed them to dj in tat fashion more easily...the trend died out very fast...with the exception of a few artists who still make this sort of thing but even adam bayers more recent materila is more melodic in facct on can alomost call it tech house... deep music..the compleat oposite of drummy techno... |

| OOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooohhhh....Yeah I know exactly what you're talking about now and well it's not really dead actually.....it's what we simply call, u guessed it, "Swedish Techno". |
