| One of the most briliantly fucked up movies I have ever seen. Like a shot of meth to the brain, Miike overloads the senses with some of the most mesmerizing scenes of sadistic violence I have witnessed on the screen. It makes another one of his popular films, "Audition", seem like a kiddie movie. The "hero" in this case is Ichi, a bullied and sexually repressed man who is manipulated to kill off the Yakuza crime bosses.
He does so by cutting them to bloody pieces with a retractable shoe blade. Its great stuff! |

| I keep hearing about this and had downloaded it, but the hard drive it was on crashed before I got a chance to watch it (Along with Ringu 2, Rasen, and Ring 0)
I'd recomend BioZombie. Cross Mallrats and Resident Evil, make it japanese and BADLY dubbed in english, and your up for a great movie. :D

| yes Ichi the Killer is for all the sadist raver in us. Love the movie. So many twist and turn and blood.
i love the main villain...He has his cheeks lacerated, so everytime he exhaled, the smoke goes through his facial cuts.
