Psy Trance/goa Crowds

 Coolness: 238565 | okay i might be stereo typing...but i have noticed that psy trance/goa attracts an older crowd then other styles(house takes the crown on that area)...
Is it because @ times the music is more complex or...? is it because it is viewed as a hippie thing @ times? Lee |

I tihink it is only because psy-trance isn't as much known as most electronic music genres. You see, dance dance revolution has one of each : Happy Hardcore, House, Trance, Dance, Breakbeats, Hardcore and Speedcore. Younger ppl play arcades more often. That's it , I found the key to that mistery :) |

Not that I really like punk music or something , but it's funny, there's now even a kind o' music called pop-punk (blink 182 and co.) But it's the same thing with psy-trance and goa , but on the opposite. I remember of a lot of ppl saying things like : Goa sucks , "Goalands" , Psy-trance is too smooth (oh really ? wtf ...) Without even having ever heard any psy-trance track. And when they finally listen to some , even if they're feet are bouncing on the floor , they'll keep on dissing it ... why ? Because it is trendy to diss this music, it's for hippies and stuff and hippies stink ... (that , I kinda agree) ... Soooooo, that's why psy-trance/goa crowds are ... not necessaraly older , but much more mature than some other crowds. Wheee ... |
