So I got the "Windspiel" EP from "Westwood Bros meets Schall & Rausch"

and since what I got is a white label, I was wondering if you guys could help me out with something...

I was wondering which track is which...I got the names...'Bonus', 'Windspiel', 'Ravage' & 'Micrologic'

actually, if you don't know all, all I really wanna know is what's the name of the track with the female sample that goes "Bass...bass...baseline"....

and if you know a site with audio samples, that would be great too....I know groovetech use to have it but since I never wrote it down and Groovetech's dead....I'm asking for you guy's help.

no....it's the one with the voice sample.....you should be able to relate actually.....except for the high picth....

anyways, I got the names of all the 4 tracks on the EP, just not sure which one it is...so it's either 'Bonus', 'Windspiel', 'Ravage' & 'Micrologic' and I don't think it's "Windspeil"...I'm pretty sure "Windspiel" is the one with the panned male sample that says "Windspiel" :b

nevermind that "Windspiel" comment...I don't think he says "Windspiel" after all.....I think it's some German word.....could be that though....I'm just not sure....

anyways, I wanna know if that "Bass....baseline" track is called 'Bonus', 'Windspiel', 'Ravage' or 'Micrologic'....

so the track is either called "Windspiel" or "Micrologic"....for some reason, I think it's Micrologic..."Windspeil" seems to fit better for the other track, according to my ears.....bleh, wtf do I know?

Hey... ASS-tech... check the matrix number.

"What's the matrix number??"

I thought so...

in the run-off groove there should be some letters and numbers cut into the record. Depending on where it was cut there may be a name in there as well... chances are one side will have FORM12012-A and the other side will have FORM12012-B. This will allow you to tell which side is which... unless it was cut at that dodgy plant in Czechoslovakia - in which case they invent their own numbers for things... but usually have /A and /B after their own crap... which, again, allows you to tell one side from the other.

You could also sit down with a stop watch and time any of the four tracks on the record while playing it back at 0% pitch... and then ID it using the track times on the discogs site.

Got your answer yet?
