| Actually he also has super human strength and greater stamina. He was working for the alliance during ww2 because of his photogenic memory. He stole the formula for the Superman from the Nazi's. Thus the americans were able to create the first superhuman and defeat evil. |

| Ermm, no, Captain America was given the "Super Soldier Serum" in WW2 to help defeat the nazi menace. He was the only person to take it before the lab was destroyed and the man who made the serum died with the recipie for it.
And yes, there's a Capt. America movie. There's also a Punisher movie staring Dolph Lundgren from the early 90s (on top of the new one coming out shortly)
Marvel's Man-Thing comics are being made into a movie also (Man-Thing was Marvel's attempt at de-throning DC's Swamp Thing)
Nick Cage is doing Ghost Rider, Christian Bale is going to be the next Batman in a prequel, the Silver Surfer has been licensed by a studio, Namor is in pre-production, The Fantastic Four is filming in vancouver, and I think Luke Cage and Iron Fist have also been pegged for movies in the near future.
And let's not forget X-Men 3 in which they're going to re-do the Dark Phoenix saga, and the talks about making a Life and Death of Superman with the Doomsday fight and his subsequent resurection after the 4 supermen emerged... |

| Oh yeah, I forgot about Hellboy! But that's not really a "major superhero" I find, so I forget about it a lot. The movie is actually gonna be leaning more towards horror than action, or so I've heard.
Also, Blade 3 has been cast and they're touching up the script before they hit pre-production. |
