| Coolness: 149015 | Well I've never had amalgam or stabba playing at any events that i've thrown, though i have played at parties with both of 'em in the past... and naw and black market, though i've booked 'em before, don't play the same styles of music as anyone in the level 4 crew (though i dabble in some minimal tek stuff once in a while, it doesn't come off quite as funky as the naw-ness)... so what i'm trying to do wih subculture is to get all sorts of different so-called "underground" styles in the same venue, so that people that have an appreciation for one or the other can broaden their horizons a little, and also cause i'm confident that someone who enjoys one things that's 'unconventional' will be more likely to enjoy other styles that are also 'unconventional', or non-mainstream. type shit. |

| Coolness: 149015 | ya mr parker, i hear ya!!! it's been years we talk about it and it still hasn't happened, due to laziness and pot-smoking i'm sure on both of our behalfs.. but in due time..
a) it's a one-room event.. i don't have room, obviously, for the ENTIRE IDJ family.. but you'll see for the future you guys'll be dropping tracks at dis shiizzzz.. i won't rest for long before i do somethin' else b) i had toyed with the idea (actually a friend's suggestion -and a damned hilarious one i might add) with doing a strictly tek night... gonna call it "In Da Techno".. intimate, monthly, you know tha drill.. but i just don't think it would've worked out.. so here we have it: subculture... c) big props to IDJ obviously... !onelove |
