TAKE A BREAK Breakbeat, Drum & Bass Corey K [DNA Records, Saphir Thursdays] Soundshaper [Planetmars, Unity II] Saturday October 4th 2003 O Patro Vys - 356 Mont-Royal East 10pm to 3am So it's not a last minute party or anything, just a little bit different. We're going to be playing a bit more dubby d&b, some breaks from Soundshaper, it should be fun. For those of you who don't know the club, it's above Billy Kun...you know, the bar that serves Absinthe. Peace... |

Absinthe rules. It probably doesn't have wormwood in it though, 'cause that's poisonous. But it's great. I need some absinthe and to have my laptop around... |

Absinthe is one molecule bond diffrent from THC. The one bond diffrence makes it so that when your on the "down" (ie: hung over the next day) instead of being depressed, it stimulates the creative portion of the brain. Van Gogh, Edgar Allan Poe, Shelly, they all did their greatest work while drinking the green fairy.
Hell, even Marilyn Manson is drinking it for the last little while, and his last album is almost all #1 hit material compared to a lot of other rock/metal albums. |

Actually...you can buy Absinth right here in Montreal, and it's legal. I'm not talking about that fake shit that's got .02% in it...i'm talking about Hill's Absinth, 70% Alc./Vol. and the real deal. It's only available at the SAQ at Prince Arthur/St-Laurent AND it's about $70.00 a bottle. If you're going to buy it yourself and drink it, I HIGHLY suggest you read up on how to do it, cuz you don't just down it ok?
I won't get into details, just do a search online. Also, yes they serve it at Billy Kun and O Patro Vys, it's $14 a glass. |

yup, it's wormwood...
it's not that crazy, one drink won't fuck you up too much at all. |
