 Coolness: 200660 | this guy called the cops on us 3 times already. he lives across the street.
once my boyfriend and his friend were playing nintendo. the other, i had 6 people in my appt and the music wasn't even playing. third time -- NOBODY WAS EVEN FUCKING HOME. this asshole wrote this bitchy little note complaining about the noise and put it on all the neighbours doors trying to get us evicted. he's litterally starting a goddamn petition. my bf spoke to the neighbours directly next door to us who say we're not bothering them at all. we live near a basketball court and there's constantly kids there playing around and shit, obviously the noise is coming from them but he thinks it's us. what should i do? i'm afraid he'll call the cops again and even if we're not being loud, having 3 prior complaints i'll get a fine or something. should we contact the police or should we try and talk some sense into this guy? whatever the outcome, my bf and i have been living there for 2 months and already all our surrounding neighbours are hearing shit about us. i hate people. |

 Coolness: 685720 | Well, if cops come by again, and they see that it's completely unfounded, then maybe tell them that you are being harassed by this neighbor. Cops keep a record of all calls/complaints, and I'm certain that, since you never got a fine for anything, they'd be able to track that down and see that the other person is a whack-job, especially with the case where no one was home. If he's a part of the same apartment complex and rents from the same people, maybe complain to your landlord that he's calling the cops on you for no reason. Mention that your thinking of going to the regie. That usually makes landlords do something about a problem.
If the cops come by again, tell them your thinking of pressing charges against said neighbor. They might go have a talk with him, because cops are lazy fucks who don't want to do paper work. |

| Coolness: 685720 | Dave, I don't watch TV at all. We're having the same problem with our upstairs neighbor. She has absolutely no parenting skills and has no controll over her 3 little brats. They run around all day, all the time, with their running shoes on, and jump and scream and play, and when we knock on the cieling to try and give her a hint to shut them up, she calls the cops because we're harassing her and making too much noise and she can't live her life under these conditions. We're going to court because we're about to get kicked out for harrasing her and discriminating against a single mother.
Boo fucking hoo. If it happens, bitch is gonna have a lot to answer for. |

and we DID tell him to stick it where the sun don't shine. he was being creepy tho... just standing there on the street staring at us. whatever, fred spoke to someone else in our building who said that he's done this so almost everyone, even his landlord said he's coocoo and to stay away from him. still... having cops come to the door when there are dozens of lines of god knows what is a little unnerving. |
