By age 6 he was appearing on television, by 14 he started producing music, and by 18, he had already released his first single. Stana has rapidly expanded his career since then, joining the world class of his profession with his new twist of sound. Stana’s taste can be accredited to his own fashion of music – coined “Tech Maniac”, and thus creating Tech Maniac Records as his own label. In 2010, ‘Amnesia’ was signed to Detox Records, making it one of his most successful releases. BBC Radio 1 claimed Stana “really excelled himself with this one”. Type-Z.E.R.O. started back in 2003, when as a progressive DJ, the appeal of the harder sounds started to pull him away from what he had been producing and spinning for years. T0XiK vs Chizode - Hardstyle Battle! ---------------- StarGazer Productions T0XiK: This DJ has always had a taste for the darker side of music, even before his introduction to rave music. Upon first hearing Hardstyle, he knew his true calling. Since getting his first break at the Stargazer Productions launch party Bits & Bytes in July of 2012, he gained a huge following. Trained by Ottawa's favorite Hardstyle DJ, Type-ZERO, and having also played along side The Divider, DJ OPEL, Tamerax, Starshock, and Crystal Fresh, this DJ always aims to impress. So come journey to the dark side, for Hardstyle like you've never heard before. Chizode: a.k.a. Kevin McDonnell, is a Hardstyle DJ hailing from Ottawa, Canada. His love for dance music first sparked in '09 after his first rave. He instantly become a die-hard fan, but it wasn't til 2011 that he took the helm for the first time. Chizode (f.k.a. k.Dublin) first started mixing Dubstep and Happy Hardcore, but decided to persue Hardstyle, and has branched off into more experimental sounds as well. Chizode has proven time and time again to be a crowd pleaser by delivering you the best, most euphoric melodies, the hardest hitting kicks and most intriguing sounds to create a blend of music that will keep you on your feet til the very last beat. Shortly after his first live appearance at The Final Euphoria: Heaven vs. Hell, Chizode was voted 2nd most requested DJ by the Ottawa rave scene in 2012 as k.Dublin! Chizode is an active member of the Freeform duo Popular Slut Club. Dj Mania - 90's Dance -------- PPL Move/The Crime Leage [ www.soundcloud.com ] Born in Winnipeg, Dj Mania's love of music really did not start until the age of 12. Shortly after moving to OTtawa in his early teens found out that djing was way better than just listening to music. Dj Mania has been a giggin djing since 1997 and a part of the Ottawa EDM scene since 2005 when he began promoting his night "Relapse Mondays/PPL Move Monday". Although djing has always been more of a hobby, don't let that worry you. DJ Mania's ecclectic mix of music is something that is not rivaled by many. Never afraid to throw in that piece that will make you laugh, or completely confuse you as to how it happened, or what on earth would possess a man to do that? The time spent on the decks is a time to enjoy everything that music has to offer, no matter how "good" or how "bad" a track is, it all has the potential to be played. Dj Mania's real love is the cheeziest of the cheeze...Disco House! However, the crowds he got to know in the EDM scene were not big fans. So, Minimal and Tech house it has become. Be on the look out for a minimal original as he has teamed up with a producer Deline to release a track "Self - Esteem" this month on the Crime League Label out of Toronto. KyLjak - Drum and Bass ------ School of Bass, [ www.schoolofbass.ca ] After been introduced to rave scene in '09, KyLjaK feel in love with its charisma, people and music. It was not until later that he was introduced to the art of DJing. With the help of Ottawa's best veterans he grew into been the genre splicer KyLjaK. His expertise in DnB, UK and Dutch Hardcore makes his sets both unique and versatile, you never know what beat this Professor from the School of Bass will bring next. Get ready to Terrorize ! Dj I.D.E - Drum and Bass ------------------------ School Of Bass, [ www.schoolofbass.ca ] The I.D.E has brought over 40 shows to date through numerous collaborations within the Ottawa electronic music scene since 2010. From Jungle and DnB to 4/4 beats nights, the School of Bass had the privilege of hosting numerous locals and out of town guests, reaching various promoters in different EDM branches. His tastes in DnB touches both liquid and techy aspects of the genre, mashing up old-school jungle elements through hard basslines. He also hosts a weekly radio show, "Sounds of The I.D.E", every Tuesday nights, 9PM - 11PM Eastern Standard Time on [ dnbnoize.com ] an Internet based radio station in London UK. Sporadix - Psy Trance -------- Having developed a love for the uniqueness and complexity of psytrance in his mid teens and taking up DJing in 2008, Sporadix has been honing his skills and developing tight and twisted mixing and his feel for a crowds energy. With inspirations such as Artifakt, Shift, Deliriant, Phatmatix, Earworm and many others, this DJ is sure to rock the dance floor and bend minds as he plays his unique and wide selection of twisted and powerful frequencies.
