DJs Bliss and Esprit (aka Dan Hadley) are spreading the 90s underground vibes Thursday February the 28th at the Royal Phoenix Bar in the Mile End. Guest DJ Spaceboy joins in on this vinyl-only excursion through the realms of Acid House, Funky Breaks, Banging Techno, Ragga Jungle and Speed Garage. John Federico aka Dj Spaceboy: veteran DJ of the New York club scene with 31 years experience under his belt, an extensive vinyl collection with a taste for underground house and techno and impeccable mixing skills. Now residing in Montreal, John will be blessing us with a rare DJ appearance and a tasty selection of 90s underground electronic sounds. Dj Bliss: A fixture in the Montreal nightlife for the past 17 years, Bliss has built a solid reputation as one of the city’s most versatile djs. He is among other things the co-founder of Montreal’s first and longest running breaks weekly THE GRILL and was a long time resident at both the now legendary CHEMISTRY and VOYEUR club nights. He has played alongside an important number of international artists such as Dj Shadow, Dj Krush, Afrika Bambaataa, MSTRKRFT, Girl Talk, Freddy Fresh, Kool Herc, Atomic Hooligan, Aquasky, Thievery Corporation, Kid Koala, Krafty Kuts and Bonobo too name a few, as well as dj sets at the Montreal Jazz Festival, Piknic Electronik, Igloofest, Neon's Voyeur, Pop Montreal, La Nuit Electronik and the MEG Festival.
