You know when you're trying to cut up a sample so that eventually, it will be able to loop smoothly? (No clicks or pops) Sometimes, there's only so much you can snip off until it's impossible to get rid of that stupid click...

I am looking for a plugin to solve this. Something that is compatible with Amadeus, Peak Pro, etc. I used to have a plugin like this when I used Peak Pro, but I removed the program of my laptop and I cannot seem to find it anywhere on the web.

HALP.

Are the clicks / pops created by the chopping the sample up or are crackles already there?
if they appear after cutting, it's because the sample doesn't end / start on zero / -inf so the best option is to make micro fades like this (manual chopping):

*make sure the snap to zero on both left and right channels.

if the crackles are already in the sample, a plugin like this can help to a certain extent:
X-Crackle

hope this halps

What Zim said ...

Also, you can throw and eq on the section and try to find the frequency of the click and get rid of it via the eq (ie. cut out that frequency) -- not always possible, but still a possibility!

Don't waste resources just to eliminate a non-zero loop point click/pop with a plug in.

Just do what Zimo said and micro X-fade the start and end of the sample.

Nathan's trick is very good too. If you have a hard time to find where the click is in the spectrum, use a spectrum analyzer.

yeah I've always really just used fading and maybe a touch of reverb/delay so the sound doesn't totally drop out when you fade the ends together

if you micro x-fade on 5 samples more or less, you won't hear ze chop.

you can just cut out the 'click' and use that as a loop instead :p
