 Coolness: 75650 | maybe not every single pre-1980 Leonard Cohen - but a lot of them are quite impressive (and Beautiful Losers is a pretty entertaining and perverse read!)... but Simon Finn is also worth investigating... I think he still lives in Montreal...
some other ideas... well... at least until the hallucinogens kick in about halfway through... early 70's psych-folk from Stateside... ...and anything related to the original WickerMan soundtrack... including those inspired by it... +++ Elliot Smith, John Fahey.... and the incredible work of old bluesmen like Bukka White, Mississippi John Hurt and Skip James. |
