Andrew Mavor aka Myagi will be hosting an audio production workshop, teaching you the ins and outs of putting your synths and VSTi's to work! Essentially a crash course in synthesis, this seminar will leave the student with a good set of principles for both building a sound from scratch and dissecting an existing sound. About Myagi: One of Canada's most accomplished electronic music producers, Myagi aka Andrew Mavor has published a slew of originals as well as working with a huge variety of artists providing his own unique, synth-heavy sound to remixes. He has been featured in various formats in multiple industry mags like Computer Music, DJ Mag, Mixmag, etc., as well as dozens of newspapers and other musicrelated magazines etc. Recognized as a synth "guru" Mavor has also been praised for his easy to understand and eloquent teaching style, and has built the seminar program from the ground up based on his 15+ years of working with a large variety of synthesizers. | Coolness: 23410 | dude, the 2 posts in the events forum are different events. 1 is a club night, 1 is a studio production workshop the next day.
I posted there but upon further lurking of the site I found this forum, and figured it seemed appropriate to post here too given this is for electronic music production. |
