| Coolness: 75660 | spruce beer isn't even in remotely the same category as Malort... the only thing I've had that approached it was a home-brew concoction called Satan's Semen - [ www.connexionbizarre.net ] - which is foul, but lacks the all-encompassing bitter aftertaste that refuses to leave your mouth. |

 Coolness: 158225 | Well, now I have to try to find a bottle. Worst thing I've ever tasted was homebrew Romanian plum moonshine which tasted like Welch's and battery acid. That and 80 cent mezcal.

I can't remember where the reviews are anymore, but most reviews by people who have drank a whole bottle end up with them totally blacking out and their friends telling them they were behaving like a rambling insane bum.. The concoction apparently doesn't just get you drunk but outright gets you stoned and totally fucks you up. |

I've had Czech homebrew Slivovice, which likely isn't too far removed from the Romanian variety...
