It's totally stupid, and I'm not entirely sure it's a really real law, but until I find out for sure I can't get the bar into trouble, so I go with a traditional nick-name for alcohol/beer: booze! You gotta be careful though, 'cause if it's spelled wrong, booze can also mean 'cow shit' in French ..
