 Coolness: 193995 | Extremely cool party. Nicely setup, the two rooms had very different ambiance which was refreshing. Word to the chill spot on the roof. I arrived late, so I caught the end of Mr. "HARD BASS IN YO EAR" Galaksy :). Awesome tracks. Milton Clark followed with some synthetic madness. Deep funky stuff, echoes in your head, way to go dude. Seb dropped another nice set to which I actually danced for some time (and that says alot because when I arrived I was pretty sure that I had no energy to dance). Aside from the music, everything else that defines the intimate IDJ vibe was at FreakAndSee: the people, the energy, the ganja smoke in the air. Word to FAK for pulling this, and to everyone who came and made the party what it was. :hat I'm only pissed because I missed the epic Mayday vs Accomplice battle. :angry

 Coolness: 238590 | Well got to this party early, but nothing-new there. As expected the psy trance room was decked out in black light artwork glowing on the walls. The two different rooms had their own vibe & feel to them. I have to say that I spent all most all of my time in the psy trance room for the music in that room was sick all freaking night long. Wow I had not heard that much new stuff in awhile. There where only a few tracks that I knew. Huge mad props to the dj’s for you all rocked my world last night. As for the jungle room…I will let other people review that. I knew that it was going to be a hot night in both rooms and I was not wrong. From conversations with Seb he thought there was going to be a lot of people @ the party and he was not wrong. It was packed in the psy trance room. There where a couple of time when finding a spot to dance in was challenge. There where some real interesting dancer that night. It was great seeing Nimi, Alex, Ze’ev, Chris, Danielle, Fredo and others again. High lights of the night 1) getting my butt pinched by someone….was abit surprised, but put a smile on face:) 2) as I said before the music, vibe, people where just out of this world. Mad props to Seb & crew for putting on a sweet ass dope party. I was not sure if I was going to dance that much after going out to Stereo the night before, but I was hitting the floor hard( the music would grab you and take me for a ride). I had only 2 problems with this party. 1) It got freaking hot in that room…..I would dance only to have to sit and cool down (to only do it over & over again)...yes i understand about not wanting sound leakage..the fans sort of helped abit 2) @ the height of night it was hard to get room to dance (and no dancing in front of speaker is not a good option for me for I have really good hearing and I want to keep it that way). Once again I got positive energy from this night, which was what I was in need of for sure…thank you folks

The party was already jam-packed at midnight, imagine afterward ... Boo to all who didn't wanna pay ; all peeps comin' out of the bars and stuff ... Boo to the only persons that created bad vibes ; the fighters upstairs ... What about respect ? Otherwise stay home, bastards ! Mega thanks to my Freak partners in charge ; Psycronik and Pi67 We did it ! Massive props for the psy room ; and big up Ecto-Gammit, Phillie Willie, Psycronik, E-Leven, Data Decay and Pi 67 ; the music was insane all-night long in there.... The vibe + dancefloor were amazing too . The upstairs room was awesome too . Thanks to all my friends who played ; you all rock ! Host One opened with savage beats on a tight mix , then Scientifik drove the party on with its electro-old school-sometimes cheezy breaks ... The ragga tag was fuckin' insane in the brain ; bombs after bombs ; Cara and Jamie played more than 40 tracks total ; all classics .......Props to you guys for keeping the old school vibe alive !!! Props to MC IRONEE AND MC LOCO on the mic mission ; but after 4 hours of constant freestyle it gets annoying. i'm sorry i cuuted the mic off at some point ; as the crowd requested ... The idj soldiah's Axionfigga and The Nitrous dropped killer sets too ; on the hard edge ... Milton Clark was exactly what i expected from him ; open-minded, tight and creative ; perfect music for a 5 in the morning set ... Had fun closing the party with drumn'trance , thought i was lost in a vortex at that point ... More comments on the way soon .... I'M trying to remember the events of the night ina certain order ..... Big love to all those who supported this Freak Addiction Kru's event. Next one around Ottawa in august ; deep in the woods ... I'll keep you guys informed in here .... :) |

 Coolness: 102175 | What a good party!!! I stayed the 3/4 of the party in the dnb room cause it was so hot downstairs. The dnb room was awesome!!! Everyone was great and i had a great time. Jamie and Cara, you kicked my ass so badly with this "festival" of jungle classics. Thank you :)

Most of the dj's kicked ass, there were lots of nice people there... but i didn't dig: the 80's cheese beats at all, the gangsta dealers and their little bitches(i love an erotic display but they were just gross...the right peeps could pull it off though), the brightness of the jungle room,missing Seb's set(again...arrghgh) oh...and i would have hated the fight but once again i missed it...in fact, i've never seen a fight at a rave. The fact that i got BLIND DRUNK the night before and could barely stand up...let alone dance sucked hardcore... Nothing sucks more than wanting to groove but almost passing out when you try to. Probs to Seb and his crew for putting this together! Can't wait for the outdoors party! |

Too much fun at this one. All the DJs were great, even with the ocaisional needle-skipping in the psy room. Only thing that got anoying was a couple of people that I think were on acid from what I heard who just would not shut up and were screaming at each other all the time. When they were standing across the room in the psy room I could hear them as if they were sitting beside me. Galaksy kicked ass! Did a short tease for us and then he came back on like an hour later to satisfy his adoring public. :) In other news, my brother is now thinking of following the IDJs. :) He loved the music upstairs, even though he spent most of his time in the psy room. Galaksy makes another convert. :) |

You know how to do it! The crowd was amazing with a nice and friendly atmosphere. For the dj sets, I came only at around 3 in da morning so I missed Mayday and Accomplice set. But I heard it was Wicked! Axionfigga rinsed things proper. And I think peoples really enjoyed my set just to see them jumpin' everywhere. That's the only sets that I heard. See you all next time! |
