What ever happened to the days where kids' shows were actually educational? And the cartoons weren't just a bunch of random, stupid shit thrown together. |

Sesame Street and Reading Rainbow had people that acted like people, not like spastic monkeys. Cartoons these days are also just fucking retarded as hell. Inspector Gadget, The Smurfs, tons of other stuff..
Kids' programing these days is fucking horrible. I can still watch and enjoy stuff I used to watch 25 years ago, but most stuff that's coming out these days I would totally not let a kid watch. |

Well, He-Man, GI Joe and Transformers, yeah, but TMNT started as a comic way before, Real Ghostbusters was based on the movie.. Lots of other stuff didn't have toys, or started out way before the toy line hit.. It's mostly just Transformers and He-Man that were 100% made by a toy company to sell more toys. And even at that, I mean have you tried watching some of today's cartoons? With very few exceptions, man they're fucking retarded! |
