Coolness: 146330	This advice has been brought to you by somebody who almost got killed today by a brainless driver... moi jva m'acheter un casque :) chprends ça comme un avertissement, j'ai eu dla chance cette fois mais ptêtre pas la prochaine, alors maintenant chfais dla prévention :P on a beau faire super attention à vélo, ya du monde qui conduit vraiment comme des asti d'caves ici sérieux !

Coolness: 129195	Good point mon flo! Moi l'été passé je me suis fait ramassé par une porte de taxi. Par chance je n'ai rien eu de serieux parce je sais comment tombé et ammortir le mieux je peux mon corps. Mais serieux j'ai eu la chienne.... Je tremblais comme un enfant pour de longues minutes apres en parlant a mon chum au telephone, ca ma vraiment fait peur. Depuis ce temps, je porte un casque. C'est la meilleure chose a faire serieux. Meme si on pense qu'on est bon en velo et que ca fait 20 ans qu'on en fait... bah on peut pas controler les chauffeurs qui savent pas chauffer ;)

Coolness: 685595	I've only ever gotten into accidents on my bike when I wore a helmet.. They never fit me right on my head for some reason.. they were always a little too loose or or a little too tight, so I spent more time focused on how uncomfortable I was than on what I was doing while riding. I also almost never go out unless it's at night, and when I'm out during the day, I'm lucky enough to have bike paths everywhere I need to go.

Coolness: 108810	Mes parents m'ont acheté un casque acheté durant mon adolescence lorsqu'ils insistaient pour que j'en porte un ; je l'ai mis de côté après 1-2. Il y a quelques mois je me suis fais emboutir par derrière en cyclomoteur, la différence de vitesse était de 10-15 kmh alors que je portais un casque approprié. Je fût sauvé d'un grave traumatisme crânien ou pire par le casque, sans compter une blessure à la main qui n'est complétement guérie. Suite à ça, j'ai recommencé à porter mon casque à vélo. Presqu'à chaque sortie je me rappelle devoir me procurer quelque chose encore plus protecteur parce que ce l'est moins qu'à cyclomoteur sans oublier que la différence de vitesse d'une collision risque d'être plus grande en vélo ; une combinaison perdante. Quelque chose d'aussi, sinon plus, important: les lumières! On voit pas aussi bien en voiture (ou moto avec casque) qu'en vélo alors ce qui semble bien éclairé l'es pas pour tous. J'ai acheté 1 lumière avant et arrière (celle d'avant pour éviter qu'une portière s'ouvre à mon passage) pour 3,50$ chaque.

Coolness: 115540	ah lala. jmanque de mtuer a tous les jours ou presque en longboard :S.. meme sur les pistes cyclables cest dangereux. les chauffards a montreal sont completement fou... mais les cyclistes le sont aussi :P

Coolness: 31195	If I ever wear an helmet, it's going to look like this: :D I live in a no bike-friendly place. Les routes sont petites, les côtés sont faits en garnotte qui roule et sont en pente raide vers des fossés très creux. Beaucoup de voitures passent par-là et beaucoup, beaucoup de gros camions remorque à 90km/h et plus. Still, I don't wear any helmet. I know, you'll all say that it's better to protect your head and complain it's uncomfortable. Until they make something looking cool, very comfortable and well ventilated, no helmet for me. Maybe this will change when I'll move to the big city, MAYBE. If I had an helmet I'd wear one for roller blade, because I don't feel secure yet on these. And because I still can't break on these fuckers.
