| If you like that kind of horror, it's great. It's a 70s style exploitation horror where the "good guys" are just people thrown in to show off how sick and twisted the "bad guys" are, because throughout the movie the "badguys" are the ones that you're cheering for.
Take the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Natural Born Killers, put it in a blender with a litre of pure liquid LSD and turn the blender on, and this is the movie you get.
Lots of serial killer references and little homages to all the classic horror movies are in this. It's got a super-simple plot, but there's also a lot of stuff that makes it a complicated movie if you start getting into it. (Like, who is Dr. Satan? :D)
It's only playing at the Paramount here in montreal and it's only playing in 1 theater in TO. The movie only got released in 595 theaters opening week and made #7 on the charts so they upped it to 700 theaters.
