just a 10 minute clip, but it's good stuff..

shows footage of raves in Toronto and in England.. interviews the owner of X-Static (he was also one of the partners in Pleasure Force) a couple years before he was forced to leave Canada.

it's a real timewarp for me to see the footage inside that store. X-Static was this *legendary* centre for rave culture in Toronto - back in 93, 94, 95...

it's where me and tonnes of other people would come from all over, to get flyers, clothes, tickets and crazy mixtapes.. Dominik would be behind the counter selling em =)

that was like... 16 years ago now. fuck I'm such an old geeza!!

Ha! Sick dude! I only started in '96 in the Ottawa/ Gatineau area but this video (plur moment) brought some warmness in my heart. lol Thanks for that ^.^

Mixmag...i remember reading about UK parties in that magazine and there was always a free cd with a different type of genre of *rave culture* music....
