“Raw Elements is back once again with a slammin' four track E.P. Continuing on the bouncy tip, Sc@r creates a driving yet bouncy EP… a must purchase this Xmas!” DJ Haze.

“..immense chords and right up my street for the actual feel.” Kevin Energy (On ‘Epiphany’)

Closing the year with a proverbial bang this month is the all new release from independent hardcore label Raw Elements, which sees not just one, but four peak time main room hardcore anthems hit the shelves on vinyl this December and just in time for Christmas too. Monday 21st December marks the 26th release of the label which has grown from strength to strength since it’s inception in 2002.

For A1, Sc@r herself teams with fellow hardcore female with attitude Miss Special K for their second official release together, ‘Do You Want More’ which was co-produced by the award winning international headliner Joey Riot and is representative of the trio’s affinity with striking, bouncy, hard and throbbing bass lines, which has an infectious hook and features a recognisable classic. This gives it an instantly uplifting break and gets down to business almost immediately!

A2 sees Sc@r collaborating with American producer – K12 Studio’s Tony Benino with 'I Feel Nothing' on some killer synths, influenced by some foundation shaking bass, a catchy melody and a sample reminiscent of an older, more atmospheric trance track of days gone by, making it a perfect addition to any energetic main room set. Well and truly letting itself off of its leash during the break, this is the very definition of uplifting, yet atmospheric hardcore fresh from San Fran! The track was also featured recently on the Australian produced Crush On Hardcore 4 compilation and is also a featured track on the forthcoming Hardcore Addiction 3 compilation CD due for release in February 2010.

AA1. On the flip, Sc@r with a cheeky hook that gives the classical music composition ‘Time To Say Goodbye’ a filthy hardcore rubdown and belts hard on the kick drum, employs a bouncy, driving feel to it and samples the memorable ‘Epiphany’ speech from one of Sc@r’s favourite rave movies. Lending itself comfortably to a serious dance floor, but at the same time keeping the fun and happy feel that defined hardcore as a genre in the first place, ‘Epiphany’ is a perfect example of good, well rounded hardcore Raw Elements style. So good an example in fact, that Luna C recently voted it his favourite track on his most recent Podcast.

AA2, ‘Tranceformers’ closes the package perfectly with the aforementioned British breakthrough production talent Dizzy getting busy on the percussion and forceful, inspired bass lines combined with a catchy melody, rising synths on the break and voice samples from blockbuster sci-fi epic ‘Transformers’ (including ‘that’ absolutely classic Transformers sound) satisfying a four pack fully loaded with some explosive main room hardcore!

Breaking new boundaries and continuing to experiment with the new, the original and the breakthrough, whilst at the same time honouring the traditions of old skool happy hardcore roots fused with the current trend of bouncy, upfront hardcore greatness, this release continues Sc@r and Uplift’s ethos of high energy and emotive, smile inducing hardcore and as a label Raw Elements continue to present their own brand of cutting edge must have hardcore anthems. This gets stronger with ELEM026, which, just in time for Christmas is the perfect addition to any self respecting hardcore DJ and rave addict’s stocking this holiday season!

The release is available as both digital 320k MP3 download and in 12” vinyl format from [ www.rawelements.neT ] and all good record outlets and digital download stores Worldwide including [ HappyHardcore.com ] IMO, Serious Sounds and Trackitdown, you can also check out DJ Sc@r’s artist site at [ www.djscar.com ] for more information.
