 Coolness: 86515 | niiiiice. saw this posted on another site... I haven't watched it all yet, but what I've sen so far is quality, so I thought I'd post it up here
BBC documentary from 1994 about jungle/D&B in London. interviews with Shy Fx, UK Apachi, LTJ Bukem, Fabio, DJ Rap, plus all kinds of other people. they talk about dubplate culture... tonnes of footage of jams and interviews I'd never ever seen before. good stuff. in part 2 at around 5:20 or so you can see Toronto's Mystical Influence at the counter of Lucky Spin Records =) =) for anyone who loves jungle or D&B, it's well worth checking to see how London was doing it back in the day this last one isn't part of the documentary... but someone linked it to me and it's dope as hell live footage of DJ Hype from 1993 - when I think he was at his best - playing the Drum & Bass at a Dreamscape rave |
