There have been repeated attempts to settle the case over the years, but the sticking point has always been Polanski's refusal to return to attend hearings. Who would have figgured that murderers, thieves and rapists have better morals than film crews, actors, investors, SFX teams, etc.. |

 Coolness: 76750 | Chinatown was amazing but he plays a total creep in it. It's sad. Sort of like a Robert Blake situation in many ways. A talented person who does something fucked that basically destroys their career. At least Polanski made some fucking amazing films. |
