Forward Music Montreal presents djs, mcs and producers from Montreal and abroad, playing what we like to call urban electronic music. This umbrella term encompasses dubstep, b-more, liquid funk, breaks, neurofunk, dancehall, reggae, mash-up, electro, grime, booty house, jungle, trip hop, breakcore, ghetto tech, big beat, jump-up, drum’n’bass, tech-step, liquid funk, garage, bassline house. Mad-K comes armed with mad beats and energy and is sure to get your butts shakin' regardless of what style she chooses to bring. ************************************ ************************************ *Juie D This is one girl you don't wanna mess with! A veteran in this city, she is known all around the world for her work in the breakcore scene. Expect a special set with some fresh ragga jungle. ************************************ ************************************ *R*Star I've been spinning for about 2 years and the notable places I've played are Eastern Bloc and two stints at Komododubs. This summer, I'm working to get some gigs at places like Laika and Les Folies to showcase the chiller side of dubstep music, as well as to put together an all-female dj night. ************************************ ************************************ Residents Wally & Rhys Taylor kick the night off in style.
