i can appreciate the effort put into making it...
but wow... WHAT A HUNK OF SHIT!!! i just visited the website and all it comes with is the drum, the needle, the speakers and the fader... basically you gotta rip apart you're own turntable mount the motor and the platter, take the faceplate off your scratch mixer to connect the fader and just toss it into the bucket. so basically all that thing is, is a garbage can with speakers. ridiculous!!! VESTAX OR GTFO!!!! Update » MURDOCK_ROCK wrote on Thu Jun 18, 2009 @ 11:34pm OH WAIT...
i spoke too soon... the one tone loc's dj rocks in the wild thing video is fuckin' BALLISTIC!!! and the chick pretending to play keys in this video is pretty hot too... like damn... i don't think there is even a single keyboard part in the whole song??? tones the man yo!!!

come on , vestax pulled out the portable vinyl cutter (dub plate rec) to make theses junk toys instead. fuck what the world is coming to.
probably something guitar hero. sheesh and is that a 10 inch ? who the fuck has a 10 inch collection beside the nofx kids ? fucking replacing analog stylus with light pickup . I HATE IT.
I'm feeling tarfu right now.. |

well to be quite honest, with the amount of tracking force necessary to keep an analogue stylus stable in this kind of situation, id much rather have a light pickup... then again there is a million other reasons why that thing is a piece of shit but i think the light pickup is a sound choice
I'm feeling lovely right now.. |

shure , but that also represent that their phasing out the needles .
i dont like the turn stanton took, not the one vestax is doing . but free land , place to improovement ,. i respect that , as long as they respect me wanting to preserve the older technology that doesnt require power. and that can actually play low floor frequency such as anything from 0 to 22 khz. and that doesnt cost 100 doll and 100 employees to make. you can go to 96 khz all you want , they wont be able to do the contour of bass as good as it would being a straight contact ( only 180 to 360 phase reversal ) laser mean resampling = shit. i prefer my vinyl to be the resonator , not an electric-cristal being artificially stimulated by the same source. you realise the downgrade ? double D means double downgrade
