Could be worse. An adult bus pass is almost 80$ for a MONTH. That's a whole lot more than 120$ per year.
I'm feeling like nico bellic right now..

, well , after insurance , caa , and licence && permit. it cost me around 1k a year ,
thank myself its not a sportscar id by paying twice that amount and that would be only for insurance.

chiping everything is a waste of ressource.

but what world do we live : when a kid steals a licence plate on the car, even if they find the kid and the plate. the vehicule owner still has to pay for a new one sice the other is " destroyed evidance by police.

my bet is , if the police break into my house tomorrow, and seise my computer and all, ill never see it again. even if i caim it.

carl displayed a pretty good picture about how we should all live our lives.

Yes you should all go buy guns now.
We can have a Massive Montreal Battle Royale.

+++++++

yeah it friggin' sucks. I don't drive that much during the year.
But i keep renewing it every time 'cause i don't want to retake the test.
If Quebec was a real Fascist police state, then our roads should all be fixed and public transportation run on time.

I read that that was a myth, and that the trains were still running late.

public transportation , after a certain age , become impossible.

kids , the crouds , the time wasted.

i prefer sleeping in my van not going nowhere exotic, than paying for that racketed bus system that when you dont live DOWNTOWN is about an hour in between bus (if no two), and the ride takes eons.

and weekend service .. hahaha what ever,

when is the last time you really cought up with the night service ? ha i never, even had the right time and all , night service suck , bus suck ,

id rather walk and sleep in my truck.

try to come to repentigny , leavin montreal at 4:15 am. on sunday morning, chances are youll arrive to this remoTe 10 km location 10 hours later (arround 1 pm or 2pm )

no shit.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Tue Mar 17, 2009 @ 12:27am
i walked faster , ask na, i walked downtown to repentigny just because the bus service made me go mad.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Tue Mar 17, 2009 @ 12:29am
imo permits are necesary still, even with the current screening and fees, they still filter out a lot of irresponsible ppl from the road.

even if that still requires lots of improovement.

one last thing, i find it funny there switching to digital, kids will fraud this like you have no idea.

let them implement it, then say one guy have a viral soulpad (card), then ill be all over the news like they never saw it happen.

just wait and see ill be funny.

Meh, if it weren't for the night services, I would have spent many nights on park benches. But I will agree with you, that at times taking the bus can fucking suck balls.

But once you live in the city, you can pretty much walk anywhere. Also, someone mentioned something bicycles. Yeah... Bicycles.
I'm feeling cool right now..

shure, i love walking downtown. from pointe-st-charles to uptown cremazy. back to pi-ix

thats a small ride for me, did this for about 6 y on foot, boycutting the bus /metro .

i wasted lots of time doing so, but i stayed in shape, save 2,50 (everytime) and was free of the crowds and delay etc..

a bike in mtl is better than a car , unless you want to move heavy stuff ( tools , computers , 800w amps ) i agreed i loved going to work from st--michel to centre-eaton. took me 15 minutes or something..

but slow steady gets there, i walk :D im bitching the service, because the AMT here in repentigny has a service that is comparable to hell's punishment.

4,75$ (last i checked must be 5,50 now...) and this is ONLY to arrive to the metro (makes an other 2,50$)

other thing they arent 24/7

some days, in between service the time for a bus is 2h45 to 4 hours.

is as cheezy as taking the service in the industrial section of longueuil.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Tue Mar 17, 2009 @ 1:31am
mico, i ended up either having to parkbench or walk too manytime, so i figured out there service wasnt a service, its a market.

These new licenses are not mandatory, they are only if you need it for the purpose of crossing the border.
You can still from what I understand procure the old style licenses

Having a car is a big responsiblity so it's up to u to keep it up or not!!! Some peeps shouldn't have whine and complian hey u wanted a car u deal with it!!! I would rather the bus i live and work in montreal so i don't see the point in haveing a car. Some peeps need a car for work which is cool but most of us have a car because we don't feel like taking the bus or whatever!

Exactly, those licences will be avalaible for hardcore border crossers. We mortals will keep the same licences.
