 Coolness: 106180 | Pretty obvious, whoever made that painting used your pic as inspiration... good luck suing an artist, they usually dont make much money.
If you get in touch with the artist and dont act like you want to bring him/her down, you might be able to get a percentage of the sale (if someone ever buys it). Who knows, with a little luck, you might even be able to talk the person into giving you the painting. |

I'd suggest reading this [ www.silvacine.com ] It is about a very similar case The original photographer decided to retroactively sue for a fee for every demonstration of the painting in question based off her photo, which would have ruined the artist. But the photographer later backed down when it was agreed she would be credited. |
