you really must remove that black border, that'd be step one of making the whole thing breathe (no kalan, not you :P ) a lil'... I'd say lose the pics on the right, they don't really bring anything constructive to the the whole design... consider that those lil squres'll be less the 3/4 of an inch (aka way to small to see em. Try and print out a copy on your home printer just to give yourself an idea of how big the elements are and if the fonts are in the right sizes...
If possible, I'd remove the whole "psychedelic enviroment, killer sound system blah blah blah, inexpensive water" and give some more imprtance to the name of the party... youre close to having a good Z effect although i think the name of the party is a bit to high up to get noticed, obviously, if you lose the extra text you're gonna lose some of that Z effect but I think it'll still work because of the delimitation between those two pics in your background montage... I would suggest though, to try and make that transition a bit more natural than just a lil feather... I personally like to add some noise to the mask of that transition area, and you might wanna match that blue-ish hue on the top image...

I realize at this point that it's not really a GREAT back of flyer, but any advice on making it better is much appreciated.
wally: thx again, I took most of your advice I think, the text and the images I am keeping just cause I do personally find they add a lil something, am not ignoring you :)
also, I realize I say nothing about venue, do people know enough to call the infoline? |
