as far as pre-amps... it would be nice to be able to afford something fancy, but for now i think it might be overkill. i haven't got to test it out with more than my sm-58 at the moment but from what i've read online the pre's on my apogee duet should work out just fine for my needs at the present time. keep the recommendations rolling... |

 Coolness: 73115 | I think it honestly depends on what your recording and where. If your in a shitty room with bad noise interferences (loud computer fans, furnace ect.) the sm58 might be the best choice.
I'd give you recommendations if I knew what your needs were. |
