 Coolness: 144355 | Ok, I already put it in the poem thread, but I think it's one everyone should read, in case there are some who don't go into Silly Games.
I'm not asking for compliments, I think everyone should just read it. So just read it. I don't care if people comment. As long as people absorb it. ----------------- When you get what you want in your struggle for self, And the world makes you QUEEN for a day, Just go to a mirror and look at yourself, And see what that girl has to say. For it isnt your father or mother or wife, Who judgement upon you must pass, The fellow who's verdict counts MOST in your life, Is the one staring back from the glass. She's the one you must please nevermind all the rest, For she's with you right up to the end, And you've passed the most DANGEROUS, DIFFICULT test, If the girl in the glass is your friend. You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years, And get pats on the back as you pass, But your final result will be the heartache and tears, If you've cheated the girl in the glass. |
