Here's something I started not long ago,
still haven't worked out the second part to my liking but it's definitely going how I want it. Trying to get those BC/Virus vibes from 2002 happening ain't easy 'll tell ya. The trumpet line was written and sampled by me, all the breaks we're made by me (not looped) as well as the bass and reece's. Nothing pre-looped, unless you count fills which I chopped up individually like all the the rest of the drums and percussion. Feedback is welcome, as long as it's constructive Word is bond! :p Right Click: Save As [ www.filefreak.com ] |

Not a huge fan of nouveau dnb normally, but this is pretty tight my friend
I'm feeling in a meeting @ barin right now.. |

Thanks again guys, Steve...I would reccommend everything by Zero-G, they make great
Sample Packs for reason, and what I do is resample all my drum lines into an audio track in Logic. The sampler I'm using is called the EXS-24, it's built into Logic Pro. Is there anything missing in the track you guys would like to hear more of? Any frequencies I should be hitting with this one, still? |

Ive always been a fan of clever voice samples from old movies or any novelty voices that defines even more the concept of the tune. Like this... only my 2 cents.
[ youtube.com ] something like this... Update » Dakurv wrote on Fri Jul 11, 2008 @ 6:08pm ps : even tho i pretty much dance like him.. its not me |

I definitely like it better starting at 2:20 when you drop the intro. Overall groove is great. I don't know enough about dnb to complain about production, but to me it sounds very light on bass, otherwise the mix does what it should.
But yeah.... where's the fucking cowbell? |

Yeah, I'm with James.
The track IS slamming, no doubt, but the kick drum could be benefit from being bassier thus have more kick, as well as the hoover-like synth. The rest is flawless. Big motherfucking up Host !
I'm feeling dancehall thrilla right now.. |

currently adding more low end to the kick, and some other
surprises, I'll post the finished product after it's injected with more beef, see how you like it then :D thanks y'all! |
