It's one of the drumkits that comes with ableton.. I didn't really want the drums to be anything major, I wanted the empasis to be mainly on the bass and Tom Waits, that's why they alternate; I think you only get the bass over Tom Waits talking at one point right near the end.. IMO dubstep is more about the bass than the drums, but anything with Tom Waits, well, Tom's got priority.

I've seen many lives done on desktops... I know its not ideal for traveling but for local work its fine.. You can always set up your live set on a desktop and borrow a laptop for gigs.. I have an old edirol pcr50 midi controller half the of keys that don't work anymore.. I'm sure its a simple fix tho but all the sliders and knobs work fine.. Id definitely be willing to donate it to the cause if your interested.

my desktop can barely trudge along as is, also. It's a fuckin' bitch. I can barely load VSTs or stuff, and it's always slow as fuck. It's really unreliable, too. When I first got it, the stock heatsink was put on without thermal paste (Microbytes strikes again. I wanted everything seperate to assemble myself, but they insisted that if they didn't mount the CPU/heatsink themselves, my return would be void 'cause it's "really common to crack the core installing a heatsink, so if you do it, we can't take it back")

so instead they mount the CPU on without thermal paste. Then I got an old heatsink from someone else, but it turns out that it wasn't made for the CPU class I had and was overheating just as much.. when I finally managed to be able to afford a proper heatsink, the thing was pretty much damaged already.. I've got a 1.8 gig cpu, but I have to clock it down to 1.35 for it to not overheat, and everything runs slower than that anyways..

yeah, I really need to figgure something out.. it's just a bitch trying to live off 565$/month when you're incapable of working. If I'm lucky I've got 20-40$ of "spending money" a month, which usually ends up going towards non-generic food like sushi or stuff to make a curry.

There's these jobs where you can work from home and just put in data for.. companies or something. I don't know.
It makes nice pocket change apparently.

I've heard about those.. My problem though is stress. If I've got some sort of quota or any kind of pressure on me, instant uncontrollable panic attack, abdominal pain that feels like I'm being stabbed with a knitting needle, and the runs.

It's a bitch, to say the least.

There's no quota actually, you do as many as you want whenever you want and you usually get paid same day.
It's not too bad, I should probably look into it myself :/

It's a cool piece but the drums could be more hard hitting.. I love the idea of remixing waits though
