Yeah, i just had a little brawl with my folks..

ok, my sister is kinda fat, and i keep making cheep cracks at her (i'm an ass, i know).. This time, my mother asked me why i never stop bugging her.. so i directed myself to there parenting.

I was telling my dad just how efficient the "slapping" and the heavy dicipline worked well in my day's and was woundering why they didn't use the same methods with my sister.

my dad told me that i was right, and it did work.. BUT "with time, i get older, and softer, and don't have the patience to deal with it anymore".. Thats where i come in (know your role).

BUT, my mother is always taking the defencive side to things saying that "its something she has to do by herself" . (my mom was a little overweight back in her days too and she lost it on her own).. the problem is that my sister isn't just a little overweight, but a lot..

so anyhoo, my mom got pissed cause i was telling her she's a bad parent with my sister lacking disipline and caring.. she told me that "i don't have to answer to you".. the same kind of crap i get from my little sister when i bug her or give her orders..

anyhoo, i just had to say something. have you gotten into parent fights.?? hehe

if you find your sister with a gunhole in her head, or laying in a pool of blood from slitting her wrists. dont be surprised if the notes says its 100% your fault.
making fun of someone who's having a weight problem, 90% of the time, makes it alot harder to try and regain a "normal" weight. so you making fun of her and cracking jokes, isn't helping one bit.
she might just laugh it off and call u a dipshit but deep down, that hurts a fucking lot.
i was complaining to my mom that i was fat and ugly once, we got in a fight, she called me a fucking cow, and i threw a toaster at her face.
"lil" cracks are sometimes pretty hurtful.
you make me sick

Fat people have to wake up and realise that "gland problems" just isn't an excuse to use all the time. I agree in a way, that it might be your parent's fault for not giving her "proper" nutrition, but it's also her fault for letting it get out of hand. I used to be 260lbs, and believe me it wasn't pleasent. (Ever wear size 48 pants without a belt? I used to!)

Anyone who kills themselves over the oppinions of others is a stupid motherfucker that DESERVES to die, because they will never be able to care for themselves or think for themselves, always relying on what other people want of them or want them to do.

i fight with my parents all the time. not so much now. after being away from them for a while you begin to see them as people rather than dominating assholes.

i've never had a roblem with my weight, well actually i've always been underweight. Not to say teasing overweight kids is alright but no one ever think that it is hurtful to tease skinny kids. It hurts either way.

have any of you seen the movie FAT GIRL ? (well its called 'a ma soeur' in french)

its pretty good

but seriously clown why is it such a big deal if your sister is fat or not, i mean yeah its a problem but its something she should deal with on her own. my brother is 14 and hes failing all his classes but one, and just now hes been getting questioned by the police over some robbery his friends did, so if your sis is normal in every way xcept being fat consider yourself lucky

ohh, i amost forgot, i also bitch at here cause she's failing her math class..

and i think it can only help to be "reminded" of the problems she has..

kinda like my frieds always calling me an e-tard. (well, more 2 summers ago), i didn't care, but in the long run, i realised just how bad i was getting and stoped poppin..

If you don't tell people what to do, they loose control.. i guess i'm just trying to be DAD around the house..

This thread made me remember something I found in my closet a while back.

Since I was never able to find the CD with the pictures of me when I was fat on it, you'll have to make do with me in a pair of my old pants.

Take note that:
1: The waist band is stretchy, and I'm not stretching it out.
2: There are velcro tabs to make them "fatter"

yeah.. but as much as bitching at people about how fat they are is bad.. it CAN help in some rare instances... not when you do it all the time though...
i remember when i was really fat (255 lbs, 5foot 11, in sec.5) and my oldest brother (whom i never saw much cuz he did consulting in the states) saw me in the kitchen taking a piece of cake, and just as i was about to eat it he yells at me to put it down cuz i was "fat enough already"... it made me cry, but that summer (he said this in may) i lost 50 lbs.. it helps to 'remind' people every once in awhile.. but not constantly

I fight with my parents every single day, wether I see them or not. If I'm lucky, I wake up and they're already gone and once I get home they're asleep.
I'll never forget December 31st 2000, it was the first time my dad talked to me about my weight. No fuckin tact whatsofuckinever. I must gave gained 10 pounds (I'm short so it prolly looked like more) but I was still not fat.
However, my dad is a short, staulky, bald man.. a George Costanza if you will. To this day I believe he had no right whatsoever to tell me anything, call me fat and disgusting. It's not as if I wasn't hard enough on myself already NOooOoo!

I hate my parents cause they didn't get my entire christmas list, 34 things isn't much to ask, why did they have to be cheap and only get me 31 things. Parents suck.

Being a bit chubby is one thing.. even i was about 50 pounds larger back in 2000.. But being obese is another..

My sister has a REAL problem, and my parents refuse to talk to her about it, leaving it up to her.. (an irresponsible 15 year old).
