Coburn's Tim Healey (UK) - Now Accepting North American Bookings Tim Healey is one half of electro-rock production duo, Coburn. Having cut their teeth on bootlegs, their hit single "We Interrupt This Programme" turned the world onto the sound of Coburn, whose debut album was launched in May 2007 on Great Stuff recordings. Tim regularly DJs around the world from San Francisco to Tokyo. Spending almost every weekend for the last 15 years entertaining crowds of clubbers and festival-goers around the globe has given Tim a unique insight into what makes a quality DJ set, where electro-house collides head-on with beats, breaks and booties; where skewed-pop gets a rock-edge, and all in the name of damn-fine dance music. Tim Healey Bio & Mix Sets Japanese Popstars (UK) - North American Dates: August 2008 From their conception, The Japanese Popstars have wasted no time in becoming the BEST thing to come out of Ireland since Guinness. To add to the hype, they have recently been voted "BEST LIVE ACT" at the Irish Dance Music Awards . Their debut album is scheduled for release on Gung Ho Recordings / Ministry Of Sound and due out in May along with a release on the label Delboys Revenge hitting in March. The singles to be taken from the album have attracted support from the likes of Pete Tong, Erol Alkan, Boys Noize, Andrew Weatherall and Darren Emerson. Tim Allister & Graham Ginty, AKA Funkasaurus, hail from Belfast, Northern Ireland and are currently building a fearsome reputation in the dance world. DJ Icon Bio & Mix Sets Dylan Rhymes (UK) - Accepting North American dates for June 2008 We have two last second openings in the USA for Dylan Rhymes on March 20-21st, 2008. We are also taking offers on Dylan Rhymes next trip to North America which will be in June 2008. When it comes to having an identifiable yet never predictable or generic sound they don't come much better than Dylan Rhymes, known to his mates as Martin Beaver. A major player in the electro house and breaks scene of today, he has built himself a solid reputation for being a talented and ingenious producer and a fantastic DJ. Across the course of his career he has written and played everything from chunky house to deep, minimal tribal grooves and of course ballsy breakbeat and electro house, all with a distinctly techy edge and a genre-crossing attitude. And it's exactly his intention to have such a diverse yet at the same time so readily identifiable sound: "I'm always taking in different influences, but ultimately I want to have a specific sound that people can recognise as my sound". Dylan Rhymes Bio & Mix Set MARKUS MEHTA (Germany) - North American Availability: April 2008 Markus Mehta has been on hiatus from North America for nearly two years. With a hectic tour schedule that has taken him to the four corners of the earth and releases on labels like Relay, Punk ID, Headtunes, Exun, Sector 616, Tuning Spork and Circle it's no wonder that Markus Mehta has become one of the most influential artists to emerge out of Germany in recent years. Markus Mehta is being featured on Derrick May's Hi-Tek Soul tour this year, but is dedicating a solo tour from April 15th – 30th 2008 in North America. Wavewhore 'Audio Tactics' North American Tour: March-April 2008 With releases on high profile record labels such as Broke, BreaksFM, Electrofly and BombTraxx, New York City based Wavewhore is quickly building a reputation as one to watch in the global breakbeat community. His skills behind the decks have also led to headlining appearances across the US and in Europe and he has appeared as a guest on Annie Nightingale's show on BBC Radio 1 London, Jay Cunning's Breakbeat Sessions on KISS FM London and Liquid Todd's radio show on WKTU 103.5 FM New York.
