Well, Pakistan is a country to was created because the good muslims could not live with the evil infidels (Hinduists) from India, most of the Talibans are trained on pakistani soil, even with a very low per capita income they found money to develop nuclear weaponry....

hopefully one day they will take example on Turkey, which is a lot more developed and have understood that it is possible to separate (and necessary) the church and the state...

Right now however I am not sure that a fair election would not bring fundamentalists in power, so Musharaff might be the compromise that is best for everyone.

So what can I say? in my opinion Pakistan is one hell of a scary country right now!
I'm feeling right now..

Fuck Pakistan, and fuck their allies.
When Musharraf took over in a military coup, the US and the commonwealth countries were all over their asses to re-establish democracy...
Suddenly democracy and the so called freedoms that are associated with them were no longer neccessary, we will be your friend, and you can fuck the people as much as you want as ong as we can fight our war against the 'other' warlords and dictators from your soil.

I am quite happy to see the ousted exiled leader Sharif and Bhutto finally rallying the people against a military dictator.

HIghly symbolic imo though that Musharraf stepped down as leader of the military, as he hand picked his successor, who is most likely a Musharraf supporter. Musharraf will still have the full backing of the military.
Would be great to see him toppled by a democratically elected gov't, but that will most likely be in turn toppled by another military coup.....
And thus the circle of bull shit continues
I'm feeling gettin baked right now..

I think the way the US is getting involved in this(funny how musharaff seems to automatically agree to do everyhting they tell him to even though all the pressure of his whole entire country was never enough before..) is just for show. Well I mean duh, I know. I guess it all works out for the best though. I'm just so flabbergasted at how easily they could actually get stuff done when they want to.. I mean the palestine-israel talks.. might not do any good but just the fact they were abvle to accomplish that much and that they could have done so all along so easily yet chose not to. It's just retarded how easy this stuff was. Leaving one letter or voice mail kind of retarded.
I'm feeling bored right now..

Pakistan: another example of artificially drawn lines creating a country that contains all kinds of different tribal groups who were never a united nation in the past.
