Just to let everyone know...

The first dubstep production workshop is in the making. It will focus on the various aspects of drum programming : the selection of drum hits, the " breakbeat methodology " and dubstep, aligning the transients, compression ( parallel compression, sidechaining, etc. ), " gelling " drum tracks, effects, processors... and more !

These workshops will not be 100% theory. A hands-on approach to dubstep production is absolutely necessary in my opinion.

I'm not the best producer out there ( ie Subtone and Blake Market ), and I'm certainly not the best teacher !, but I want more local producers to start making dubstep ( in fact, I think it's absolutely vital to the scene ) and that's why I thought it would be a good idea to organize these workshops.

It will be a good learning experience for me as well as I am absolutely certain my " students " will teach me a few things.

This question is aimed at those who are interested... what would be the best time for you ? During the week ? The week-end ? During the day ( afternoon ) or in the evening ?
I'm feeling g.r.i.m.e.y. right now..
