 Coolness: 35150 | With the Party cleanup done, we are now loading the clearance bins with a new batch of cheap records.
These come from our famed and mysterious "n'importe quoi" collection, 6000 records stored at the turn of the century, rejects from the times (1997-2000) when there were too many records being released on wax. Pretty equally divided between RAVE - hardcore, hard dance, hard trance, hard beats of all kinds TECHNO - deeply loopy shit you can see in the patterns left in the grooves DISCO HOUSE - back in the day when disco samples and high energy grooves ruled the dancefloors UNDERGROUND - an eclectic collection of everything from tweaky minimal house to UK Hip Hop to breaks to big beat to Skam. And YES they are sorted and marked according to style so no headaches there. All records currently priced at $2.00 each, or 10 for $10.00. Bring your pocket change and make some time to stay and listen. Free post-party beverages Friday and Saturday for those that know to make the request. Personally speaking, I have had to listen to all these records and have found alot of exciting sounds. Some things come across much better, much fresher than when originally released. Anyone who has been here during those marathon listening sessions knows what I am talking about as they have been chomping at the bit to come in and sample some. Yeah!! |

| Coolness: 35150 | Employees we got, but we are a distributor first and start our day at 9 AM during the week. Getting someone to stay till 9 is a real drag, especially as most of our distro work is done by 3 or 4 in the PM.
And with our various systems, getting new people trained is an uphill battle. BUTs we do need to adjust - I agree. |
