Book Clubs And Other Such Clubs Are A Pissoff!

| A few months ago they had a stand at my local shopping center. The girl runniing it stopped me so I stopped to be polite, but told her I was un-interested and did not even read french. She was quite persistant, so finally being the pushover that I often am, I signed a paper, however ordered NOTHING. The deal was that I think about it and maybe come back later in the week to order something. Needless to say, I never returned. Up until now, they've been sending me flyers in the mail. which was fine.. easy enough to throw away and ignore. Then not too long ago, I got notice of a package they were holding for me at the post office. I walked over there today to pick it up, actually a little anxious to see what it was (oh boy, someone sent me a gift?). Well, I get to the post office to discover that the stupid book club had sent me 2 books along with a bill. First of all, I don't read french, as I mentioned earlier, and second of all, if I did it would not be these cheesy books they sent me. If they think I'm paying for these books they sent that I never ordered, they have another thing coming. I know that I should have know better in the first place to ever sign anything that has to do with one of these sneaky, underhanded clubs, but well, sometimes I don't think before doing something stupid such as this. |

| Haha.. I can read french alright, I just don't read french books. And the girl made me believe that there was no pressure, that I didn't have to make a decision right off. And btw, the shopping centre here consists of like 10 stores.. I wouldn't call it a mall. |
