.:/FEATURING\:.

JULIAN LIBERATOR – London, UK(SUF Collective, 4x4, Ultra Funk)

Julian is one of the founders and owners of the SUF Collective with Chris
and Aaron Liberator. Apart from running eight labels of their own, the
collective has gone on to nurture and financially back many an
underground talent including Geezer, DAVE The Drummer, DJ Ant, Martin
Hare and Alex S from Brasil.

A key figure in the free techno party scene that gained momentum from
the early 1990s in London (and later spread to Europe and the rest of the
world) Julian was one of the key figures in bringing electronic music to the
free party milieu, as well as being one of the first DJs from the London free
party scene to push things away from the dominant acid sound towards a
more percussive, techno edge. His label 4 X 4 has from the beginning,
championed a more minimal, techno funk: dance floor driven, but always
with an experimental twist.

Since those early days, Julian has traveled around the world with his
music, including gigs in Russia, Japan, USA, Canada, Australia, Korea,
Venezuela and most European countries. He has played at many festivals
including Dance Valley, Glastonbury, Phoenix Festival, Megadog and many
a Czech-Tech.

Always a Toronto favorite, this amzing brit is sure to entertain and it is with
great pride that we present to you the talent that is Julian Liberator

ANX – Calgay, AB (Rebel Sound System, [ myspace.com ]

For the past 7 years, Anx has played across Canada, opening for such
diverse acts as Richie Hawtin, Dave the Drummer, DJ Preach, Chris
Liberator, Mark EG, Ant and many others. Driven by a love of techno, Anx
is has quickly become one of Calgary’s favorite techno djs. An avid and
clinically obsessive vinyl collector, Anx’s myriad of influences have given
birth to an extremely technical yet creative performance, one that
encompasses funky techno, hard techno, minimal, breakbeat, electro and
acid. Intricate cuts, triple turntable action, and pounding energy not only
sound like descriptions of a snuff film, but also are also integral parts of an
Anx show.

A founding member of the Rebel Sound System, Anx has become an
integral part of the Calgary techno scene with no signs of slowing down, as
long as Alberta’s electricity stays on. This is surely a special performance
not to be missed.

DATA DECAY – Ottawa, [ ca ]

Since 1999, this Ottawa DJ has been a slave to the rave. Favoring the
more psychedelic sounds in the scene; he began mixing Acid, and was one
of Next Offensive’s first dj’s when it first began in 2001. In mid 2000 the
move to psytrance was a natural selection for Data Decay, being turned on
to psy was an evolution, for and continues to be for the lovers of
psychedelic music.

After joining the F.A.K. (freak addiction krew) and more recently Tekno
Turtle Radio, this Dj has since become a fixture in both Ottawa &
Montreal’s psytrance scene, as well as finding international attention. His
mixing is hard, fast, and literally out of this world. Unlike most psytrance
you’ll hear, his sound is fully original, and is sure to keep you dancing
throughout his set. Not to be missed.

Patrick DSP (live PA) – Toronto, ON (fineaudio/hardsignal/hydraulix)

A long time fixture in Toronto’s hard techno scene, Patrick is one of the
GTA’s best and by far the most produced performer in the city. His tracks
have found homes on such successful labels as Cluster, Hydraulix, and his
own label; Hardsignal. Away from Toronto, Patrick DSP is known as one of
the hardest working guys in the business, whether its collaborating with
other artists such as Chris Liberator, Andreas Kremer and Dj Android;
developing talent in Brazil out of his studio NepTune Studios, or making
inroads in Europe.

With a sound like no other, Patrick is one of the hardest performers you
could probably see in the techno universe making his live pa here
something that is sure to be remembered.

.:/ALSO PLAYING\:.
